When Paths Cross, Possibilities Open
Sometimes the right people cross paths at exactly the right moment, even if they don’t realize it yet.
Nick Lucatino, M.S., BCBA, LBA, has spent his career walking alongside individuals with disabilities and their families. As a behavior analyst and educator, he’s seen the gaps that too many individuals fall through, families left to figure things out alone, young adults facing life transitions without a clear plan, and communities struggling to build truly inclusive opportunities. Nick knew there had to be a better way: one rooted in person-centered planning, practical support, and genuine respect for each individual’s story.
Tommy Vaughn came from a different background, with years of experience in business and operations. What Tommy lacked in direct service experience, he made up for with a clear vision for building strong, sustainable systems that put people first, and a shared belief that everyone deserves genuine opportunity and belonging.
When Nick and Tommy first met, they didn’t plan to launch a business together. But what started as a chance conversation turned into a friendship built on countless hours of sharing ideas, frustrations, and hopes for how things could be done better. Years later, that spark grew into Inclusive Pathways: a promise to combine deep expertise in transition planning and disability services with solid business operations to create an organization focused on people, not red tape.
Today, Inclusive Pathways helps individuals with disabilities and their families navigate life’s transitions through comprehensive assessments, futures planning, life skills coaching, and employment services. At its heart, the mission is simple: to stand alongside every person and family so they never have to plan for the future alone, and to help build real pathways to a life of possibility, dignity, and community.
The Inclusive Pathways story is still unfolding, shaped every day by the families we support, the schools we partner with, and the communities that believe in what we are building. Our hope is to keep growing this work in ways that open more doors for everyone, because when the right people cross paths at the right times, great things can happen.
